Today I want to talk about my everyday facial and body lymph massage. If you are not already familiar with the term “lymph massage” and the amazing benefits it bring, let me break it down for you.

Lymph massage (lymph drainage massage): is a massage that you can do by yourself to get rid of unwanted cellulite and blockages found in the lymph, which causes your body to swell. Moreover you may be able to lose weight just by doing this simple massage!!

Have you ever gotten puffy eyes in the morning? Or have you had your shoes/boots feel tighter around your feet later on in  the day?

It’s all due to blockages in your lymph system. Think about this way. Your Lymph system is like a water rubber hose in your body. If something is clogged inside the hose while water is running, the hose will expand. The same thing happens in your body, which may cause you to look chubby!!

I am so sorry for not uploading for a while… I’ll try to post at least once a week. So stay tuned for more beauty tips!
Today I want to teach you how to properly wash your face.
This is A MUST–KNOW if you want to achieve beautiful skin!! Even if you are already using expensive skincare products, it will not mean a thing if you do not take good care of your skin.  This is because your skin cannot properly absorb all those products if your skin is unclean and bumpy.

The tips I’m going to share with you today helped change my skin for the better, and it can help you with yours. I’ve been washing my face this way since I was high schooler.

Caution:
  • DO NOT WASH YOUR FACE MORE THAN TWICE A DAY!
  • DO NOT SCRUB YOUR FACE everyday! Doing so will actually work against you!  This will actually lead to dry skin, as you are constantly stripping layers of skin off your face. If your skin is healthy, it takes about 28 days for your body to produce new skin. However, if you scrub your face too much, your skin cannot properly create a barrier that locks in the moisture, and therefore cannot protect your skin from a variety of stimulus. If you have sagging skin or wrinkles, you might want to scrub your face once or twice a week to help the turnover get back on track.

I've been thinking where to start... because I have lots of things I want to share with you all. Since this is my first blog post, I shall start with my very first homemade facial mask I made! This recipe is originally from my mom. It is super easy and you will only need 3 ingredients from your kitchen!! It is all-natural, fresh and tastes good!!

Here’s what you will need:
  • 1 tablespoon of 100% pure honey (organic preferably)
  • 3 tablespoons of plain yogurt (without sugar)
  • 1/4 teaspoon of matcha (stone grounded green tea) or 1teaspoon of 100% pure cocoa powder as a substitute
Note: Please test the products on your wrist before applying directly onto your face, to ensure you will not have an allergic reaction.
